Energy Increasing Practices

For this Training Day we have two specific techniques we will teach you. You will also get a video recording and instruction manual so you can continue this practice at home.

Awakening face practice. Facial shiatsu focuses on light pressure applied to the face and neck area. This facial massage helps slow down the aging process and eliminate stress, anxiety, tension and headaches. Shiatsu massage thus refreshes and rejuvenates the face by releasing the flow of vital energy, blood circulation and muscle tension, while working on some acupressure points of the face.


Yoga flow. The moon salutation (Chandra Namaskar) refers to a sequence of yoga poses that helps the yogi calm the central nervous system and prepare the body for rest. This flow builds flexibility, strength, endurance, and the coordination of body and mind. It balances all systems of the body, such as the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and endocrine systems. The moon salutation can be done on a chair, so it’s benefits are yet accessible to everyone.

Meet Your Hosts

Alex (on the left) lives on the Algarve in a luxury retreat that her and her husband built with love from the ground up. She is a body structure & function expert who trained with a physiotherapist for her Yoga Teacher Training, as well as other energy and health modalities making her THE person see if you want to improve the functioning of your body and improvement in your health.

Michelle (on the right) is orginally from New Zealand and now resides here on the Algarve in Portugal. She completed body therapies training and nutrition training in the early 1990s and now empowers people to take charge of their own health and energy through online coaching and in person workshops and retreats.  Michelle has been eating plant-based for 5+ years and is an expert on liver function, plant based nutritiuon and detox practices.
